Poet Bangladesh legendary and Arun Dasgupta journalist died in his village Dhalghat Patiya in Chittaagong Bangladesh at around 12 noon on July 10, 2021.
He was 86 years old.
He suffered a cold and cough for several days.
He was cremated in his home village on Saturday night.

A teacher-turn-poet-journalist, thinker, and figure of civil society, patriotic and Erudite Dasgupta returned to his homeland in pursuing the roots after his studies in Kolkata and often spoke in a pure Bengal accent that attracted attention to the local community in Bangladesh.
Confirmed scholars, Dasgupta inspired many things to pursue literature.
Born on January 1, 1936, in Dhalghat – Tanah Teacher Surya Sen, he began his journalistic career in 1973 with ‘Azadi daily’ and was a literary editor in ‘Dainik Azadi’.
Dasgupta wrote a lot of literary works including “Khandobdahon”, “Rabindraneather Chhoy Ritur Gaan O Ananya”, “Nabinchandra Sen”, and “Kabitachinta o Anynya Prabandha”.
‘Da Moni’ The media and community culture, where he lived in Nandananon from Chittagong was the center of literary, political, and philosophical critics, and saw care from beginner storytellers, poet composers, lyrics, and poets.
