Masaba Gupta, the founder of an eponymous fashion label, “House of Masaba”, has introduced kaftans as a wardrobe staple for weddings.

A kaftan is a tunic or robe worn in a number of cultures, mostly as a coat or an overdress.
An imperial garment is worn by the sultans of the Ottoman Empire and a traditional Moroccan outfit.
Masaba has specially curated these beautifully printed kaftans for intimate weddings.
She has posted numerous snaps on her Instagram account which displays beautiful and stylish kaftan designs.
One of the models is wearing a nude color kaftan with vivid floral prints styled with aesthetic floral accessories and a big yellow Bindi.

According to her post, Masaba has introduced numerous prints in kaftans but she has curated 4 staple styles till now.
One of them is a long-sleeved flare kaftan with matching parallels.
The second one is a kaftan dress with mid-sleeves in an open-stitch design at the sides.
The third one is a mid-cut-out kaftan with bell sleeves and the last one is a kaftan dress with scrunch pleats.

All these sartorial styles and designs are classy, chic, and ethnic.
Masaba has captioned her pictures and wrote, “Specially curated Kaftans for intimate weddings.
Whether you choose to wear it as a bride on your Mehndi Day or as a guest for a celebration, it is now a wardrobe staple.
As weddings become smaller, the palette for easy silhouettes become larger.”
Kaftans are super easy to wear but at the same time elegant, royal, and fashionable.
Wear these kaftans at a wedding with extravagant pieces of jewellery or wear them for a casual outing with jeans and sneakers, they are versatile and dynamic.
We have seen people wear kaftans as maxi dresses, boho tunics, and even beach cover-ups but Masaba opened a new door to the fashion world and started this wedding kaftan trend and made kaftans, contemporary yet traditional again.
