Paralyzed under the shoulder at the age of only seven months, many years later, Madhavi continued to participate in the national swimming championship and the winner appeared.
He underwent a hydrotherapy after a big accident that threatened the lives.
The persistent spirit and the desire that was unrelenting to pursue his dream made the little girl go to Chennai, and set a name for him and his community, making the way for a fairer and inclusive society.
To help and encourage other people who are also different like him, Madhavi started the initiative called ‘Yes, we can also’ where he tries to encourage people to take sports and bring positive changes in their lives.
Other initiatives by them include the establishment of the Paralympic (PSA) swimming association of Tamil Nadu and Indian Wheel Basketball Federation (WBFI).
But all this can be impossible without loving and endless support obtained by Madhavi from his parents, which is the pillar of his strength.
