The world is transcending towards sustainable fashion, from fashion designers to fashion lovers.
And, it’s heartwarming to see some popular celebrities choosing sustainable fashion over others.
One such celebrity, whose sustainable choices are making a lot of noise, is none other than Charles, the Prince of Wales.
For over 50 years, Charles has used his royal position to champion the cause of sustainability.
Over the years, the Prince of Wales has launched a number of sustainability initiatives aimed at delivering practical outcomes and sustainable fashion is a huge part of his movement.
The Prince believes in recycling his clothes and other things, and he showcased a beautiful example of the same as he stepped out in a 30-year-old suit for an appearance at the Royal Ascot, the world’s most famous race meeting conducted in the United Kingdom.
The ever-so-handsome Charles, who is also the former husband of the late Prince of Wales, Diana recycled a thirty year old suit for the royal occasion.
Charles was seen flaunting a grey morning suit which has been a part of his wardrobe since 1984.

Interestingly, he donned the same Anderson and Sheppard suit for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018.
The appearance was Prince’s gesture to echo the sentiments of the event organisers who empasise on sustainability and encourage all the attendees to wear clothes which are very much a part of their wardrobe instead of wearing something new for the race.
“In the case of that particular morning coat, as long as I can go on getting into it, [I will].
I only wear it a few times a year, in the summer, so obviously you want to keep those sorts of things going,” the Prince of Wales earlier was quotes telling British Vogue editor Edward Enninful.
In the interview, he also mentioned how he preferred mending old clothes and shoes instead of discarding them.
Well, that’s a beautiful gesture from a man who is the future monarch of the United Kingdom.
