Chandigarh: UT Administrator Banwari Lal Purohit led the Covid weekly review meeting on Thursday and decided that there were no new relaxation or limits to be applied.
However, the owner of the gym and demand for solid market owners for relaxation remains unfinished.
Purohit clarified that there was no step by the administration of Chandigarh to establish a mini covid care center at the Hostel and Punjab University students did not need to panic over this issue.
Meanwhile, reviewing Covid City preparedness, the administrator directs all officials to try with the top equipment to fight the virus.
Purohit, who has saved the Settings tab made by the City Hospital and was told about the fact that there were 70% of the availability of beds in the main health institution, expressed satisfaction with the efforts made by administration, but emphasized the need to adopt different strategies to increase the level of testing.
The administrator praised the aggressive approach of the health department in providing vaccinations to the targeted population, but asked officials to fix it in the 15-18 year category, which is currently 66.37%.
He also showed concern over people who did not come for the second dose of the Covid vaccine.
Urging residents to be affixed, the administrator said, “Vaccination is the only way to protect themselves from viruses.” The administrator directs the enforcement of a strict Covid protocol in public places, and said punishment must be imposed on individuals and institutions found to violate norms, especially those found without masks.
