New York Fashion Week Men’s Day returned to the direct presentation on Wednesday, with almost a dozen designers who emerged showing off their 2022 collections.
The model poses like a statue when the audience runs within touching design.
Sometimes, there is a central character that shows off the theme behind the display.
Some of this year’s designers are looking for inspiration close to homes, while others drawn tropical local further.
Tristan Detwiler quotes the sand and beaches of Hometown San Diego as an inspiration for his booth collection, which displays a full color and fabric pattern like a blanket in a neutral and homely tone.
“I source all textiles, I met people, I learned their story, I learned about culture,” Detwiler said.
“The textile is the second, it’s really a first story.”
Bright colors, hot and striking forms are dominated by Teddy Vonranson designers.
“I will always do an exotic collection that takes me to South Seas and I’m really inspired by Tahiti and the works of Paul Gauguin,” Vonranson said.
Meanwhile, Designer William McNicol from William Frederick Collection said all parts were designed, developed and produced in his hometown in Cleveland, Ohio.
The presentation displays the canvas painting model while dressing in casual clothes, neutral colored.
“Most of our collections are based on creativity, curiosity, intelligence, intimacy,” said McNicol.
“This collection is specifically about the life of artists, and clothes that work also on artists like those in their space.
So that’s why I want neutral and things that will only be lost in the studio or attic artist or.
Space,” he added .
The Biannual event featured ten brands that appeared starting their collection debate, with five in the morning and five others later in the afternoon.
